Slaughter House - One

Slaughter House - One

I thought this video was really smart. First, they start out with a really nice track. The beat is amazing, meshing rock with hip hop leaves us with an anthem level track to cut scenes against. So, simple we have a simple set with one location, basically three set ups, and let the performers perform.
I don't understand why more hip hop music videos don't cut to the beat like this. The obvious choice of a room full of beautiful women, but how can that idea ever go wrong? Nevermind don't answer that. I wish I could find a song like this to direct..

Good work..

Chris McDonald: Life of a Salesman

I have been a director for about two years now. I had been personal friends with Chris McDonald from my days in Maryland. Chris is an amazing musician and an equally good actor.
Chris played his song "Roller Rink" for someone involved with SCION, next thing we knew we had a budget and were about to make a video. We didn't just want to do
a regular performance video since Chris's acting ability allows for us to expand from that. We came up with SAL "Your Pal" BUCKLEY. The loveable, yet sleezy
used car salesman. We figured it fit the audience group, SCION, and it was semi comical. Check out the video and tell me what you think. If you like the song,
Chris McDonald's:Life of a Salesman can be found on itunes. I highly recommend the CD, and if you don't buy the whole album make sure you at least download.
Tell me who to follow, Intro, and Mary's Land. (I get a mention in that one) ...

Really strong editing

The editing keeps the song and idea moving. The idea has been done, but so has everything, and this is the reasons these types of videos get made again.
